ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words on my post. It is very comforting to know that I am not alone. I think I am going to really try hard just to strip it all back to basics this year, go with the flow. I, like you, think that we can get carried away with the whole romance of the magazines. That, if we don't get a christmas looking like that, then somehow we have failed and there always being a sense of disappointment. We just have remind ourselves that the kids don't care if the wrapping is all skew wiff, the baubles have smashed on the floor and yet again, you have cooked a turkey and left the giblet packet in it! I am such a people pleaser that I find it hard to negotiate who, where and when...but this year I think I will just make plans that suit us, and everyone else will have to work round us for a change!!!!
