Pinning down my style.

This time next year we will be embarking on our building projects back home in NZ.

It feels amazing to say that! It has been a long hard slog here in the UK, but the end (beginning?) is in sight!

I am collecting and collating images like crazy. 

Pinning down an interior style. 

I feel like I am at my best when given a challenging, limited space to work with. 

Making the best of a bad situation I guess!? 

So working from a blank slate is quite a thing.

I want my look to feel cosy, lived in, quirky, personal, warm, friendly and fun.

Around here, lately....

A bit of this, a bit of that. 

I know I am a very lazy blogger at the moment. 

Winter for me is survival. 

If I get through, that's enough. 

But, Finn's little face, a morning coffee and doggies outside Waitrose cheer me!

And daffodils fill my frozen wee heart with springtime HOPE.

A very London Winter

A wintery ramble through Kensington Palace Gardens. 

I feel like I may finally be getting the hang of this London Winter thing. 

I still DON'T LIKE IT but I'm starting to see the beauty in the frozen fragility. 

And yes, bundling up the kids and taking a bracing walk through gardens such as these is quite a good time. 

Especially when your final destination is a cosy pub!
