This morning at the Farmers Market.....

I started off with a strong coffee.....

I saw brussels sprouts at the vege stall for the first time!

Amazing whole confit chickens.....

With my basket full we headed across to the pond.....

.....and nearly got eaten alive by the greedy geese!

Foxy foxy

Good morning readers!
I am feeling chipper today, even after limited sleep and only one coffee in the tank so far.
Firstly, I have to say Happy Birthday to my buddy Andy (Pipkin in blogland).
I am so happy you are here (London).
Andy and I used to flat together back in NZ years ago and now he and his lovely girlfriend Helen live about 5 minutes walk from me. So great!
I saw the following photos over at Spitalfields Life and just had to share them.
They put a huge smile on my face and I know this is the kind of thing that Andy finds hilarious, so Pipkin this one's for you.......

Tuesdays through the window - from my window to yours

Today I had a little helper, who opened the window......

We peer outside.....wow, what a beautiful autumn day!

I am silently willing the trees to cling onto their red and golden leaves.

We spy a window, it's reflective eye doesn't give much away, but I wonder all the same.
Who is behind that window and are they playing a similar game?

P.S. Check out more Tuesdays Through The Window here.

Blah blah blaaaahh.....

Sorry for the rather juvenile title of this post.
It should probably be entitled waaaahhh waaahhh waaaahhh cos that's all I have been hearing for the last 4 days and nights!
Not that I blame the poor little mite.
His ears are very swollen and red according to the doc, as is his throat.
Antibiotics have been prescribed.
Sometimes I feel like I must be a bad Mother when I am sleep deprived and stressed out. I know at times like these I am a spectacularly BAD wifey. Sorry Rich for biting your head off earlier!
It's just that sometimes you get fed up.
Sometimes you need to have a little hissy fit, and then you kinda feel a bit better.
Anyway, just needed to unload, thanks for listening.

You've got (more) mail

Carrying on from my mail theme....
Look at this sweet little purse spotted over at Fine Little Day

I think I will buy one to store all my stamps.
Hope you have all had a fantastic weekend?

You've got mail

Last night I watched You've Got Mail. It's cheesy, yes, but I love it!
Anyway, it got me thinking about mail.
I get quite a lot of mail living away from my home country.
It's the most exciting feeling to get an actual LETTER........

These images are inspiring me to ditch emailing and embrace the art of letter writing again!

Tuesdays through the window.....in Black & White

I love playing along with Julie from Swedish House's 'Tuesdays through the window.'
Hope you like this slightly different take.....

Waiting for Daddy?

Random strangeness on the train.

Kissing at the lookout.

Holly Golightly - through the window of Tiffanys.

The backseat.

Killer view.

Autumn veg in abundance!

Beautiful bunches......

How cute is this fresh squeezed OJ???

Across to the pond to feed the ducks.....

A peaceful scene.....

Through the trees.....

Don't you just LOVE Autumn?

Style Crush - Sibella Court

I have had a major style crush on Sibella Court ever since reading about her in an issue of Living etc. some years ago. At the time she was living the dream in NYC. Working as a freelance stylist and fashioning her large loft home into a thing of beauty.

Sibella in her NYC home.......

Sibella's NYC loft with original pressed tin ceiling, oh so fab!

Now she is back in her homeland of Australia having opened the Society inc. in Paddington, Sydney.

She lives in this gorgeous apartment above the shop.....

Not only that, she also has this book out.......

Oh, and did I mention the paint colours range......

Ever had the thought that someone else is living your life???
