Labour Day....

While I am labouring away at my sewing machine (yes finally!)
My dear friend Holly is IN labour.
Yep, the long awaited baby 'Tiger Turner' is on the way - yahoo!
Can't wait to meet the little munchkin.

Just a quick post today as I need to get back to work.
Here is the fruit of my labour so far.....

'Sweet Pea' bunting, cool!
You can purchase this little number, for the wee person in your life, over at my online store Aniseed.

In a crafting funk.....

I am currently in the clutches of a crafting funk, and I don't know how to get out of it.
I have a stack of great fabrics, trims, ribbons etc. I have a nearly new sewing machine.
I have orders for five strings of bunting and a notice board......I should be crafting up a storm!

The following is a list of reasons NOT to get to work:

1. I have a 2 year old and I am completely knackered.
2. I would rather be blogging, drinking coffee and eating chocolate. (Oh that's what I am doing now ha!)
3. Every time I set up my machine to start, Max wakes up and I have to pack it away again.
4. Neighbours is on.
5. It's too hot.

The following is the list of pros:

1. I need a craft to blog about.
2. People are waiting for their bunting.
3. I always feel better after a creative splurge.
4. Neighbours is dumb at the moment.
5. It's pouring with rain.

Mmmmmmmm......I'm still torn.

Anyhoo, here's a pic of the breton top I picked up at the Marche aux Puces in Paris.
Finally I have a genuine breton in my wardrobe which is already packed with navy and white striped tops!

Brocante Fever....

Even though it has only been 4 days since I returned from Paris, I am already obsessing about our next Brocante (roughly translated flea market/vintage/antique) adventure.
Visiting the famed Marche de Puce was number one on my list of to do's this trip and it didn't disappoint.
Here are a few pics I snapped, on the sly, as most of the stalls have 'No Photo' signs....

....I definitely have Brocante Fever!

The Riviera Parasol

I'm a little bit excited.
I just bought this fab parasol for my garden.
It will be delivered just in time for the weekend.
Hope it's a sunny one!

Back home blues....

Back home in London now.
Several loads of washing done and flapping on the line.
My purchases have been unpacked and placed about the flat.
Max is happily slumbering in his cosy cot.
All is well.
Tonight I will dream of.....

Sunset on a bridge with my love....

Amazing architecture.....

Walking by the Seine.....

Perfect espresso......

And my dream car!
Nite Nite.

And the winner is......

Renee!!!
The winner of the fab Olivia Smith necklace is Renee Ell.
Super nanny, fashionista, beach babe and one of my besties.
Renee would have the most fascinating and fabulous blog - if she had the time to do it!
Renee, let me know which colour you would like, Ink or Coral.
Congrats my darling.

White, wonderful white.....

My Mum will laugh when she reads this....
I was always the queen of colour and now I am just obsessed with white on white on white.
White is peaceful, humble, calm and beautiful.
White does not shout.
White is historical, white is modern.
White is always right.
Mum, I've come around to your way of thinking.
