I can hardly believe it has been six weeks since my surgery. It has felt like a looooong road to recovery, but six weeks - hey that's not a lot of time in the scheme of things.
I can honestly say it has only been this week I have started to feel things have settled.
Not wanting to gross anyone out, but I have had 'the ooze' for 5 weeks. (Lymph fluid oozing and in some cases gushing out my belly button. eeeewwwwwww!) I have had to resort to taping breast pads and cut up nappies over my leaky button.
Also, I can tell you wearing Spanx 24/7 for 5 weeks is like 5 weeks of being a human sausage!
BUT, I now have an after pic which I am pretty happy with. When I look at the before, I just can't believe how bad my poor tum was. I feel like I am back to the old me and it's so great!
So, in retrospect, would I do it again?????
Heck yes!
So happy to be able to pick up my baby again - it's been a long 6 weeks!
Before (eck!)
After
