A pretty pastel Easter

Today the 'husbandage' (bandaged up husband) confirmed flights for a trip over Easter.
He is crewing for a yacht race with a few mates from Hong Kong to the Philippines.
I think it is really nice for him to have this to focus on. He now has a goal to work towards once his leg cast comes off. He knows he has to be 100% for the race.
The down side is that Max and I will be loners over Easter. Boohoo.
Never mind, I still want to make it really special for Max. Do my little crafty things I love to do and have an Easter egg hunt in the garden.
Easter is special. Easter is HOPE. Easter is NEW BEGINNINGS. I think we all need a bit of that right about now.....

FLOWERS, BOOKS & VESSELS.....

It may be frivolous and fluffy.
But grouping and displaying things is, kinda, what I do.
Is it O.C.D.? Mmmmm maybe!
Sometimes when Richard walks into our flat, he says he feels like he is in a shop, and starts asking how much things cost (cheeky joker!)
Groupings of flowers and books are my particular fav right now.
I like when collections look a little bit dishevelled and slightly 'off'.
I know it's all silly stuff, but it makes me smile.....

A LITTLE BIT CAMP

Wahoo!
6 weeks til the Royal Wedding.
So exciting to live in London at times like this.
I've just been having a squiz at the Camp Royale website.
Camping out on Clapham Common for 3 nights over the event and only £75!
Defo cheaper than a London hotel and perfect for making use of the Hunter boots just once more before packin' em away for summer.
Tempted...
Although I would be plumping for the 'Glamping' option. A 18 foot luxury teepee, NICE!
But a little out of my price range at £2000.
It's just that I am desperate to string up my union jack bunting and flags! There's only so much you can do with a 5 x 10 foot garden!

What do you think? Good idea?
