That's a wrap folks!

A wonderful, exhausting, inspiring, challenging week of......
.......new art purchases!

New teeth!
Cheeky treats.....
Embracing the London grey as best I can!
Gooooood food....
Tinkering with a bit of branch styling......
And getting my Christmas decs out WAY too early!
Visiting Liberty......
And catching up with good mates!
Hitting the hay early tonight. This has been like a day without end.......fractious children, stuck inside, routines messed with thanks to daylight saving ending. Today is OVER! So happy to lay down my weary head. Night night.

Farr out!

Fabric obsession alert!!! I've love it every since I spied it in London's Haymarket Hotel (as seen below).
Christopher Farr's 'Carnival' fabric is quite simply perfect.
I am putting my order in for a roll of the stuff and will use it for cushions, curtains, covers etc in our new place.
What do you think?
Fabbo???

Diary of an abdominoplasty - 6 weeks on

I can hardly believe it has been six weeks since my surgery. It has felt like a looooong road to recovery, but six weeks - hey that's not a lot of time in the scheme of things.
I can honestly say it has only been this week I have started to feel things have settled.
Not wanting to gross anyone out, but I have had 'the ooze' for 5 weeks. (Lymph fluid oozing and in some cases gushing out my belly button. eeeewwwwwww!) I have had to resort to taping breast pads and cut up nappies over my leaky button.
Also, I can tell you wearing Spanx 24/7 for 5 weeks is like 5 weeks of being a human sausage!
BUT, I now have an after pic which I am pretty happy with. When I look at the before, I just can't believe how bad my poor tum was. I feel like I am back to the old me and it's so great!
So, in retrospect, would I do it again?????
Heck yes!

So happy to be able to pick up my baby again - it's been a long 6 weeks!

Before (eck!)

It really is......

What a c-c-crazy week it's been. Our work is getting outta control busy. We have around 30 staff now and are working on 5 major projects at once. On top of this Finn is sick and teething - waking up many times through the night. Max has been having night terrors and crawling into our bed most nights (he's such a bed hog!) Our nanny got a new job so is only with us one day a week.......
And yes, I picked this week to start our new 'no drinking during the week' regime! (Hubs NOT impressed!)

BUT......I am happy happy happy because our new site manager starts on Monday and it is just possible we may be able to go on holiday soon.....

It's the weekend and I am going to have an afternoon sleeeeeep in my new Zara bed linen.....

And it's our first Saturday, just our little family together, for over a month......

Sweet!

Lofty Perfection 2

Oh my goodness! My husband really does read my blog!
He spent today researching loft flats and came up with this gem in South Kensington.
If you have a spare 1.795 million (yikes) you can purchase this 2 bed flat.
I adore the kitchen and am very taken with the roof terrace.
I still think my find pips him to the post though!
Here while it lasts.

Lofty Perfection

Dear Richard,
This is what I meant earlier when we were discussing buying a rental property.
Not Fulham, not Chelsea, some where edgy & cool!
This one is fetching £675 per week. Not bad for a one bed in SE1.
I can see our boys living here in 20 years time, can't you?
Of course they will have to fight it out over the bedroom.
More info here.
From your loving wifey. (Hehehehehehe!)
